Patricia Gomes

Patricia has been a documentary film editor for 20 years and has developed and directed oral history projects using documentary as a social and educational tool. Her work ranges from grass roots projects to films that occupy the intersection between documentary and artistic practices. Working as a mentor on a short film scheme by British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust to support films by up-and-coming British Deaf filmmakers has been a personal milestone and an eye opener for unspoken questions about filmmaking out of the norm.
