I am an acrobat king, between three very old civilizations, (African, Arabic and Greek), following the object of art through cinema as a filmmaker/director and through music as a percussionist.
I have been living and working in Greece since 1985, (behind and in front of the camera) and have accompanied various well-known Greek and foreign musicians such as Psarntonis (Greece), Omar Farouk (Turkey) and others.
I have also worked for the UN as a language interpreter for newly arrived refugees.
Other areas of my work include: *Media literacy educator *Representative for the Salonica Film Festival programme in Crete
‘Let’s go to the cinema’,
*Director for stage plays, (including ‘Love in the snow’ by the classic Greek writer Papadiamandis).
At the moment I am enjoying training as a chef 🙂 …
